About

We work to understand your child’s needs

Igniting the spark of genius in every child

Little Steps to Learning in North Haledon, New Jersey provides a safe and loving educational environment for children. The children under our care aren’t only taught the curriculum; they are encouraged to grow mentally, physically, and socially at their own pace. When you enroll your child at our center, you can have peace of mind knowing that he or she is learning new things while having fun.

Little Steps to Learning has been caring for and loving children ages 6 weeks to 6 years and their families for 30 years in North Haledon, New Jersey.  We love children. We have over 60 years of accumulated experience in our staff.  Our program is designed to accommodate many different schedules.  We are open five days a week for the entire year. When the public schools open late or close early we accommodate those children who are registered with us so that parents can go to work and know that there is a plan for homework help and enrichment for their children.  The staff is warm and friendly and they work with parents and children as well as each other to fulfill our purpose of caring for children and their families.  Many of our children are the children of former students.

Little Steps to Learning academy Is a fully inclusive organization.  Though we are sponsored by a Presbyterian Christian Church we are non sectarian.  We provide access to and are open in all of our services employment and admission to anyone who is otherwise qualified , regardless of religious affiliation , creed, ancestry, marital status, disability, gender identification, national or ethnic origin, race, color, affectual or sexual orientation, sex or gender identity expression.   We are proud of the diversity of our community of staff , students and parents or caregivers.
