We hope the children enjoyed our busy month of March. The first week we celebrated Dr Seuss’s birthday! The babies had so much fun learning about The Lorax, The Cat in the Hat, all different kinds of fun creatures and characters Dr. Seuss created. March was also about weather, rainbows, St. Patrick’s Day, and about the beginning of Spring. We hope you enjoyed their rainbows! They loved making them. April is almost here, YAY!
We have been enjoying the outdoors on the nice days, and the children are loving the new additions to the playground. Stay tuned to even more!
This month, we will be learning more about Spring, and that means bugs, butterflies, flowers and let’s not forget Earth Day. We will be making animals and bugs in arts and crafts! We are looking forward to having our Easter/Spring party on Wednesday March 31st! (Tomorrow!)
Don’t forget – School is CLOSED on Friday April 2nd.
Baby Steps has welcomed several new baby steppers this past month and they are an awesome addition to the amazing bunch of children we have already!
Our toddlers are counting in English, Spanish, Japanese and French! They learned how to say hello and goodbye in these languages as well. Challenge them to show you at home, they will surprise you! The next languages we will learn to count in, will be Arabic, Italian, and German.
Thank you for letting your babies learn and have fun with us every day!

Loose Parts Play is an interesting concept that came about in the 1970’s. It had a significant influence on early childhood educators as well as those who designed play spaces for children. According to architect Simon Nicholson, including “loose parts” in our child’s environment empowers and stimulates creativity.
